Ever need something to do while you're bored in your cubicle.....er, I mean waiting at the doctor's office.....
Well why not pass the time putting together some fierce outfits?!? One of my favorite websites, InStyle.com, has created a virtual game to help sharpen your styling skills.
InStyle's Instant Stylist game challenges you to "complete the look like a fashion pro". You're presented with an outfit for a specific event that you must complete by adding the correct accessory from the four that are offered with each outfit. Pick the right purse, shoe, cardi, or bangle and your score will go up. No worries if you don't choose quite right....you get cute hints until you pick the correct one :-)
What makes this game so great is that once you have chosen the correct finishing touch, InStyle will tell you why the outfit works together. Then you can take these tips and apply them to your own wardrobe. Genius!
But the best part of this game....aside from the high score bragging rights, obvi.....is that when you find an outfit or accessory you love, you can click on 'shop the look' and find out where to buy each piece.
Ah, technology. What would we do when we were bored if it weren't for you?
